Forgive and Forget? - Authentic Peacemaking.
You know it's important to live at peace with the people around you. After all, Jesus said, "Blessed are the peacemakers." But when it comes to turning the other cheek or apologizing to certain people, you know you need work.
How does God want us to reconcile thorny situations in our relationships? How can we use these thorny situations to actually build relationships? Maybe you're having trouble with a co-worker, a family member, a spouse, or a member of your congregation. Or maybe you're struggling with the guilt of an incident in your past. You'd like to resolve things with the person you hurt, but you're not sure where to start.
The Authentic Peacemaking three session class tackles issues like avoiding destructive responses to conflict, giving witness to Christ in and through conflict, forgiving others, and negotiating reasonable solutions. You can take advantage of online discussion groups, case studies, role plays, and other tools to change the way you handle these situations.
Take the first step in applying biblical principles of reconciliation in your home, at your job, in your church, and throughout your community. This is a three session course lead by Ted Kober.
